Message: International law, which I specialize in, is the legal norm that applies between nations and is the basis of international society. In an international society in which mutually equal sovereign states with different political, economic, and social systems, languages, and cultures coexist, each country maintains its autonomy while adjusting its interests to avoid conflicts, and addressing issues such as environmental issues. It is also a tool for collaboratively solving common challenges. In today's globalized society, it is important to pay attention to what is happening in the international community and think from multiple angles about Japan's position in it and your own way of life - relativizing Japanese society and your own common sense and values. Perspective is essential.
