THEインパクトランキング2024で世界72位、5年連続国内1位を獲得

THEインパクトランキング

イギリスの高等教育専門誌「Times Higher Education（THE：ティー・エイチ・イー）」による「THEインパクトランキング」のことで、気候変動に対する活動やジェンダーの平等、健康と福祉など、大学の社会貢献の取り組みを国連のSDGsの枠組みを使って評価するというものです。今回で6回目となるこのランキングに、本年度は世界2,152大学、日本からは88大学が参加しました。

世界72位（国内1位）にランクイン

「THE ⼤学インパクトランキング2024」において、北海道大学は、総合ランキングで対象となった世界1,963大学中、世界72 位（国内１位）にランクインしました。

SDG別ランキングにおいては、17のSDG目標のうち、「SDG2 飢餓をゼロに」(世界89位）、「SDG9 産業と技術革新の基盤をつくろう」（同49位）、「SDG14 海の豊かさを守ろう」（同57位）、「SDG15 陸の豊かさも守ろう」（同51位）、「SDG17 パートナーシップで目標を達成しよう」（同52位）が世界100位以内にランクインし、高い評価を得ました。

また、2023年には本学が4年連続で国内1位を獲得していることを称える楯が授与されました。

世界100位以内にランクインしたゴール

Hokkaido University Ranks 72nd in the World(and 1st in Japan for fifth consecutive year) in “THE Impact Rankings 2024”

Times Higher Education, a UK-based higher education magazine, released THE Impact Rankings 2024 on June 12, 2024. Hokkaido University is ranked 72nd in the world―and 1st in Japan, for the fifth consecutive year―out of the 1,963universities that targeted the overall ranking. The THE Impact Rankings assess universities’ contributions to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participating universities are evaluated based on submitted data and metrics from external sources.

Out of the 17 SDG targets, Hokkaido University is ranked within the global top 100 in the following categories: SDG 2: Zero Hunger (89th), SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (49th), SDG 14: Life Below Water (57th), SDG 15: Life on Land (51st), SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals (52nd).
