Octopus content has been published on the special website "Fish of the Month (FoM)*" of our Faculty of Fisheries Sciences.

In this FoM, we will introduce the topic of ``octopuses'', which is explored by Associate Professor Bower.

The octopus catch in Hokkaido has remained at around 10,000 tons for the past several decades, making it one of the highest in Japan. Associate Professor Bower of the Hokkaido University Faculty of Fisheries Sciences has been researching cephalopods for 30 years and is currently focusing on research on the water octopus. We hope you enjoy The World of Octopus guided by Associate Professor Bower.
