The Laboratory of Masahiko Fujii Faculty of Environmental Earth Science, participates in the "Hokkaido Energy Change 100 Network" and aims to maximize the use of locally produced and consumed energy and shift to a natural energy island.
The predecessor of this network is the Hokkaido Energy Change 100 Project, which started in June 2011. In 2014, he won the Hokkaido Shimbun Eco Grand Prize Encouragement Prize, and in May of the same year he established the group "Hokkaido Energy Change Network", and promoted and disseminated "Hokkaido Ordinance No. 108 Hokkaido Energy Conservation and New Energy Promotion Ordinance". Hokkaido's Electricity Roadmap to 100% Renewable Energy”, and hold citizen-led seminars. Currently, 30 organizations/companies and 60 individuals are participating in the network, and more than 1,000 people are participating in the Facebook group, which is a place to disseminate information.
