Since electricity cannot be stored in its original form, batteries are key devices for the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and the utilization of renewable energy. Our research group is working on creating new solid-state ionic materials and developing synthesis processes to innovate batteries. We are working on creating solid-state ionic materials and developing synthesis processes to realize new batteries that can replace the lithium-ion batteries that are currently in widespread use.
