Professor Akira Miura is pioneering the frontiers of inorganic materials chemistry, aiming for a future where "materials can be created immediately (Synthesis on Demand)." While computational science and AI are advancing in predicting material properties, there is still a significant gap in predicting material synthesis methods. The Miura Laboratory aims to elucidate the mechanisms of synthesis reactions through in-situ analysis and build a framework for rapidly creating new materials needed in the future through reaction control based on that understanding.
