We would like to introduce "Yoichi Orchard" located in Yoichi Town, about 60km from Sapporo. It was built in 1912 in Hokkaido in a relatively warm place suitable for growing fruit trees, for the purpose of fruit research and promotion. At the orchard, which is in the midst of its fruitful autumn, we interviewed students who are practicing harvesting apples and grapes, as well as researchers who are using cutting-edge methods to improve varieties such as haskap.
