Plankton plays an important role in the ocean food chain. It is said that something strange is happening to the oceanic plankton. We spoke with Assistant Professor Kohei Matsuno of Faculty of Fisheries Sciences about how climate change is changing the distribution and ecology of marine plankton, and what impact it will have on higher-order predators, including humans.
