Our University's Center for Advanced Tourism Studies concluded a comprehensive collaboration agreement with sports apparel manufacturer Goldwin Co., Ltd. on September 29th.

 

Through this partnership agreement, we will build a system of mutual cooperation in a wide range of areas such as academic research, regional development, and education, and aim to create tourist destinations that will lead the region, propose changes in lifestyle, and practice tourism through sports and outdoor activities. We will promote joint research on style tourism, human resource development programs, and interaction with students, and develop activities to achieve these results. In particular, by collaborating and deepening tourism research in the sports and outdoor fields, joint research aims to induce more fusion of sports and tourism, discover diversity in lifestyles, and contribute to the development of the health service industry. , as well as practitioners, athletes, etc. conducted in the course certification program (Destination Manager Development Program), including the seminar subjects and "DMO Management Practical Course" offered by the Hokkaido University Graduate School of International Public Relations, Media and Tourism. We will establish a cooperative system for lectures and field work, and develop educational programs for human resource development through mutual cooperation.
