The “Hokkaido University Alliance” has been established aiming to create synergy effects among universities and corporations in Hokkaido by collecting, sharing, and analyzing information on education, research, social cooperation, and industry-university cooperation, and by considering and implementing specific projects, while taking advantage of the features and strengths of each university and corporation, thereby contributing to solving regional issues in Hokkaido.

The Alliance will cover a wide range of areas including education, social collaboration, and industry-academia collaboration, as well as collaboration for the promotion of research among all Hokkaido universities.
