On June 21, control of the invasive alien species, “Alpine ragwort” and others was carried out.

The control of the invasive alien species is conducted to maintain the ecological environment of the campus, and this year is the first time in three years since FY2019. Associate Professor AIKO, Professors TSUYUSAKI, and Professor OHARA, as well as Facilities Department staff, Institute for the Advancement of Sustainability staff, and students, participated in this control work.

Hokkaido University will continue its efforts to conserve the campus ecosystem.
