On STV Sapporo Television Broadcasting's YouTube channel, the content of the announcement made at the university's regular press conference, ``Hokkaido University proposes future challenges in response to the assumption of a huge earthquake in Hokkaido,'' has been published.

This is based on the presentation "Damage estimation and mitigation of subduction zone earthquakes - What if a huge earthquake occurs in Hokkaido (Center for Natural Hazards Research)" presented at the university's 6th regular press conference held on October 20th. This is a video. The video discusses proposals for damage estimation in the event of a major earthquake, cases in which multiple weather disasters occur, and delays in recovery caused by aging infrastructure.
