The “North Campus General Research Building No. 8” (ICReDD Building) (*Note 1), which is scheduled to be completed in spring 2023 on the Hokkaido University Sapporo Campus, has been awarded the “ZEB Ready” designation as a building that has achieved energy savings of more than 50% compared to conventional facilities. The ICReDD building is a new research building for the Chemical Reaction Discovery Research Center (WPI-ICReDD), and is the first independent building for ICReDD, which previously used part of the Creative Science Research Building.
