Hokkaido University, in collaboration with Fighters Sports & Entertainment Co., Ltd., will be holding a three-part program called "Entertainment Science Academy" for elementary school students in grades 4-6.

This program, held at ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO, is a learning environment where children can scientifically explore the concept of "fun" and investigate various "why?" and "how?" questions related to entertainment.

The program is planned to run for three sessions in total. The first session on Monday, July 27th, will begin with a tour of the ES CON FIELD facility. As the children tour the facility, they will explore the "why?" and "how?" aspects of ES CON FIELD, and discover the mechanisms that create "excitement" and "thrills" at ES CON FIELD.

The second session, on Saturday, August 8th, will take place at our university's Enreisou facility. Through a group workshop using LEGOs, participants will experience the articulation, sharing, and empathy of ideas as they explore what kind of mechanisms would further enhance the sense of excitement they felt during the facility tour.

Finally, for the third session on September 6th (Sunday), we will move back to ES CON FIELD for a presentation of the children's ideas.

Through these initiatives, and with the full cooperation of Fighters Sports & Entertainment Co., Ltd., this is a groundbreaking academy that approaches "entertainment" from a scientific perspective.
