Hokkaido University Museum is recruiting participants for its "Training Course for Rock Parataxonomists (Intermediate Level)".
*This course is intended only for those who have already taken the introductory course on rocks.
【overview】
Our planet Earth is mostly composed of rock. In this course, we will learn how the rocks that make up the Earth's crust, the outermost layer of the Earth, were formed.
In addition, students will learn what minerals rocks are composed of, and how to identify the types of rocks and minerals by observing actual rock samples.
