The Medicinal Plant Garden attached to School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy, Hokkaido University, will be holding public tours to allow the general public to become more familiar with medicinal plants.

[Location] Medicinal Plant Garden attached to School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy Hokkaido University (Kita 12-jo Nishi 6-chome, Kita-ku, Sapporo)
[Target audience] General public, staff, high school students, university students, etc.

● Guided tour of medicinal plants by staff (starting at 10:00)
Rhubarb, Aconite, Phellodendron, Ephedra, Fennel, etc.

● Herbal medicine tasting
You can actually taste and smell the herbal medicines.

●Experience preparing crude drugs using a mortar and pestle.
You can prepare it by grinding and mixing crude drugs in a mortar and pestle.

● Guided tour using medicinal plant observation printouts (Recommended for those who want to view at their own pace. Please bring writing materials.)
