This is an announcement from the Startup Creation Headquarters of Institute for the Promotion of Business-Regional Collaboration at Hokkaido University, regarding the recruitment of program participants.

HSFC (Hokkaido Future Creation Startup Development Mutual Support Network) is participating as a resource partner in "Hokkaido F Village X (HFX)," a program that supports domestic and international startups interested in developing businesses in Hokkaido and F Village.

We are pleased to announce the launch of "HFX Academy," a practical learning program within the HFX program for students interested in "overseas x Hokkaido x new business development." We are also recruiting "HFX Buddies," who will serve as supporters for startups.

At "HFX Academy," you will learn about the startup and innovation scene through sessions themed on "Who is driving global innovation?" and role-playing workshops that allow you to experience the process of creating new businesses.

Furthermore, based on what they learn there, students selected as "HFX Buddies" after a selection process starting in August will work as supporters for startups both domestically and internationally, handling tasks such as communication with companies, attending meetings, and providing on-site operational support. This is a valuable opportunity to directly interact with global startups and experience the actual business development and market expansion processes firsthand.

We welcome anyone interested in entrepreneurship or startups, those who aspire to work in a global environment in the future, and those interested in creating new businesses or solving local issues.

Dates: July 11, 2026 (Sat) - August 31, 2026 (Mon)

Location: Hokkaido University campus, Escon Field HOKKAIDO, and other locations (tentative)

Number of people: around 20 people

Participation fee: Free

Target audience: University students, technical college students (4th-5th year/advanced course), and graduate students in Hokkaido.
