The Ministry of the Environment implemented the "Let's Think Together: Fukushima and the Environment Beyond" Challenge Award 2024" with the aim of creating an opportunity to think about the future of Fukushima together with the younger generation who will lead the future, and to expand connections through new ideas. In this award, Junpei Iwai, a first-year master's student at the Graduate Graduate School of Agriculture, Hokkaido University, won the Fukushima Prefectural Governor's Award in the university student category.
