Demola Global is a Finnish-born innovation challenge platform that supports industry-academia-government collaborations. It is an international innovation challenge platform that brings together 56 universities from 15 countries worldwide. Demola is characterized by the collaboration among university graduates and company staff to solve companies’ real problems. In Japan, Hokkaido University was the first to introduce the platform. By participating in this program, you will be able to experience many things in real life, such as the ability to co-create, the importance of diversity, personal connections, how society is arranged, and the basics of the economy. To date, teams of students have tackled “challenges” presented by more than 900 participating companies, and many business ideas have been formulated.
