What led me to study: When I was in high school, I was obsessed with being in a band and wanted to pursue a creative career like being a musician. I was also interested in the medical field, and decided to enter School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy because I thought, ``If I can develop new drugs, I might be able to save people all over the world.'' The theme I found particularly interesting was catalysts. I thought it was very creative because you could make your own catalyst. It is also attractive that the results are visible, such as the completed catalyst. I also enjoy reproducing catalytic reactions on a computer and observing them with three-dimensional data.

Professor Tsuji's research is introduced in ``Lecture by Hokkaido University faculty member ``The world of asymmetric organic catalysts that breathe life into small molecules.'' *Move to Yume Navi.
