Our university's Graduate Research Faculty of Agriculture, Graduate Graduate School of Agriculture School of Agriculture, Graduate Graduate School of Global Food Resources, and Kuromatsunai Town, Hokkaido, signed a collaboration agreement on November 27th.

The purpose of this agreement is to ensure a close cooperative relationship with each other regarding their respective research and education functions, and to contribute to the development of research and education.

Contents of cooperation
  1. Matters related to biodiversity conservation and sustainable use
  2. Matters related to material circulation in farmland, forests, the Shuta River system, and the ocean
  3. Matters related to research and development of regenerative agriculture
  4. Matters related to soil carbon storage, etc. that contribute to the prevention of global warming
  5. Mutual support for education and human resource development
  6. Matters related to creation of local employment through high added value of agricultural products and commercialization
  7. Other matters necessary to accomplish the purpose of this agreement
