Our university's Graduate Research Faculty of Agriculture, Graduate Graduate School of Agriculture School of Agriculture, Graduate Graduate School of Global Food Resources, and Kuromatsunai Town, Hokkaido, signed a collaboration agreement on November 27th.
The purpose of this agreement is to ensure a close cooperative relationship with each other regarding their respective research and education functions, and to contribute to the development of research and education.
Contents of cooperation
- Matters related to biodiversity conservation and sustainable use
- Matters related to material circulation in farmland, forests, the Shuta River system, and the ocean
- Matters related to research and development of regenerative agriculture
- Matters related to soil carbon storage, etc. that contribute to the prevention of global warming
- Mutual support for education and human resource development
- Matters related to creation of local employment through high added value of agricultural products and commercialization
- Other matters necessary to accomplish the purpose of this agreement
