The Japan Society for Bioimaging will hold the "32nd Academic Meeting of the Japan Society for Bioimaging" from November 3rd to 4th at our university's Conference Hall. We will also hold a "Public Lecture/Advanced Equipment Tour/Demonstration" on November 5th.
32nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Bioimaging
This academic meeting will include special lectures, symposiums, poster presentations, etc. In the special lecture, Professor Mikako Ogawa of the University's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will give a lecture entitled "Biomedical imaging using light and synchrotron radiation and its development in treatment." Also at the symposium were Professor Hideharu Mikami of the Nikon Imaging Center Research Institute for Electronic Science, University of Tokyo, Professor Fumio Mogi Institute for Genetic Medicine University of Tokyo, Yukako Nishimura, lecturer Institute for Genetic Medicine University of Tokyo, Assistant Professor Aiko Yoshida Faculty of Medicine and Professor Fumio Mogi of the Faculty of Medicine Associate Professor Yoichiro Fujioka and Associate Professor Tsuji Tabata of the University's Research Institute for Electronic Science are scheduled to speak on the podium.
Public lectures/advanced equipment tours/demonstrations
Co-sponsored by the Japan Society for Bioimaging and Institute for Genetic Medicine, this event introduces cutting-edge topics related to "bioimaging," which is used in a wide range of fields such as medicine, pharmacy, agriculture, and life science and engineering. We are planning tours and demonstrations of state-of-the-art equipment such as microscopes that are actually used at our university's institutions, and high school students are also welcome to participate.
