Our university and the Institute for Global Environmental Studies (RIHN) will co-sponsor the ``2nd RIHN-Hokkaido University Collaboration Symposium'' on October 30th.

 

In April 2022, our university and the Institute for Global Environmental Studies concluded a collaboration agreement. Additionally, in November 2022, the first “Hokkaido University-RIHG Collaboration Agreement Commemoration Symposium” was held at our university. In 2023, the 2nd symposium will be held at the Institute for Global Environmental Studies, and through research presentation sessions and panel discussions, RIHN and Hokkaido University will collaborate to discuss what kind of future society will be designed for the region and the world. The following lectures from our university are scheduled for this symposium. Additionally, Professor Taro Yamauchi, Director Center for Environmental and Health Sciences and Faculty of Health Sciences will serve as co-chair, and Director and Vice President Atsushi Yokota will deliver the opening address.
