In 2018, Hokkaido University and the Robust Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Engineering Science and Technology Leading Research Group launched the Robust Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Engineering Research and Development Platform, a place for the accumulation and utilization of knowledge and an industry-academia-government collaboration council, to meet the needs of the field. We are developing technology for next-generation agriculture, forestry and fisheries engineering based on the following.
In this symposium, we will report on the results of our activities over the three years since the platform was established, and we will focus on complex disaster countermeasures learned from the Hokkaido heavy rain disaster and the Hokkaido Eastern Iburi earthquake, and will focus on the lessons learned from the Hokkaido heavy rain disaster and the Hokkaido Eastern Iburi earthquake. We will explain our findings and discuss future challenges and developments.
