The Laboratory and Blood Transfusion Department Hokkaido University Hospital will hold a ``Test and Blood Transfusion Citizen Forum ``To live a long and healthy life - Is it true that you are frail?'' on September 16th.

Frailty is not a disease, but it is a state of frailty that falls somewhere between being healthy and needing nursing care, where muscle strength and physical and mental vitality decline with age, making it easy to require nursing care. If frailty is recognized early and appropriate intervention is taken, it is possible to return to a healthy state. In this forum, we will give a lecture on this frailty.
