During the Corona disaster, the tourism industry in Nepal was hard hit, as in Hokkaido. However, starting in late 2022, Nepal is already welcoming tourists from all over the world. What is the current state of tourism and the environment in Nepal, a leading country in inbound tourism? What will happen in the future?

In this lecture, Hokkaido University researchers who have been conducting research in Nepal for more than 30 years, two Nepalese who received their PhDs from Hokkaido University, and high school students who just recently completed an extended stay in Nepal will present the current situation in Nepal to everyone in the Hokkaido.
