Like Hokkaido, Nepal's tourism industry has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. However, from the second half of 2022, Nepal is already accepting tourists from all over the world. What is the current state of tourism and the environment in Nepal, a leading country in inbound tourism? What will happen in the future?

This lecture featured researchers from Hokkaido University who have been conducting research in Nepal for over 30 years, two Nepalese who received their Ph.D.s from Hokkaido University, and a researcher who recently completed a long stay in Nepal. We will deliver the current state of Nepal to Hokkaido residents through presentations by high school students from Hokkaido.
