The Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI) has been implemented since 2016 as part of the ” Future Strategy for the 150th Anniversary of Hokkaido University.” HSI is a program that invites outstanding researchers working at the forefront of their fields to conduct educational activities together with Hokkaido University faculty members. This course introduces the research and activities conducted at Hokkaido University that lead to the SDGs from a “women’s perspective,” which is one of the key elements of the SDGs.
