The Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI) has been implemented since 2016 as part of Hokkaido University's "near-future strategy for the 150th anniversary of its founding." This is a program that takes advantage of Hokkaido's cool summer climate and invites outstanding front-line researchers to Hokkaido University to carry out educational activities in collaboration with Hokkaido University faculty. At the Hokkaido Summer Institute, we will introduce research and activities conducted at Hokkaido University that lead to the SDGs from a "female perspective", which is one of the core of the SDGs.
