Our University's School of Fisheries Sciences (Hakodate Campus) has created and published an information page for junior high and high schools who wish to visit as part of their school trips or comprehensive studies.

 

We have six courses available to suit the purpose of your visit, including research and education courses related to the SDGs of our university's School of Fisheries Sciences.

  1. Hakodate campus facility tour course: 30 minutes required
    This is a course where you tour the facilities on campus (lecture building, management research building, laboratory building, etc.) while interacting with a tour guide (a student from the School of Fisheries Sciences Science or Graduate School of Fisheries Sciences).
  2. Faculty information course: 30 minutes required
    This is a course where you will receive an introduction to the faculty in a lecture format by a faculty member School of Fisheries Sciences.
  3. Aquarium facility tour course: 30 minutes required
    This is a course where you will take a detailed tour of the aquarium facilities on the Hakodate campus with faculty members or students from the School of Fisheries Sciences.
  4. School of Fisheries Sciences Entrance Examination Explanation Course: 30 minutes (only for groups with students wishing to enter School of Fisheries Sciences)
    This is a course where you can receive explanations about the entrance exam for those wishing to enter School of Fisheries Sciences.
  5. Balanced Ocean Introduction Course: Duration 30 minutes
    Introducing the Balanced Ocean Project (an educational program aimed at "early discovery and development of top ocean scientists") conducted by School of Fisheries Sciences. This is a course where you can receive lecture-style lessons on how to utilize online teaching materials.
  6. SDGs course: Duration 60 minutes
    This course introduces research cases related to SDGs at School of Fisheries Sciences and allows you to experience some of the SDGs education provided by School of Fisheries Sciences in a mock lecture format.
