The Hokkaido University URA Station is now accepting applications for the “Support Program for Local Studies 2023” for graduate students currently enrolled in Hokkaido university’s courses including master’s courses, professional degree courses, and doctoral courses.
In addition, application briefings for the program will be held on May 19 and 31.
“Support Program for Local Studies 2023”
This program is designed to support graduate students who proactively work on problem-solving in the field in cooperation with local communities and organizations in Hokkaido, based on research and studies that develop their own research and university studies based on their own ideas. The objective of this program is for students to proactively practice a modern version of local studies with a “frontier spirit” and ” practical learning,” as expressed in the basic philosophy, which will lead to learning and problem-solving skills that emerge in the field.
