The Hokkaido Branch of the Catalysis Society will be holding the ``2023 Kitano no Kuni Catalysis School'' on June 10th, co-sponsored by the Institute of Catalyst Chemistry at our university.
The Hokkaido Branch of the Catalysis Society of Japan holds the ``North Country Catalysis School'' every year, providing an opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students newly involved in catalysis research, as well as the general public, to learn the basics of catalysis. A hybrid event is planned for 2023. A catalyst researcher who is active on the front lines will explain the practical knowledge needed in actual research situations.
At the ``2023 Kitakuni Catalysis School,'' Professor Kiyotaka Nakajima, Professor Kenichi Shimizu, Professor Jun Fukuoka of our university's Institute for Catalysis and Professor Yuichi Kamiya of the Institute of Global Environmental Studies are scheduled to give lectures.
