Our university CoSTEP will hold the 127th Science Cafe Sapporo "Milk to Make Soil" on December 16th.

This cafe will feature milk produced with the aim of ``environmentally regenerative agriculture.'' Unlike milk that is produced using grain feed, grass-fed milk is milk that is produced using only local grasses. In order for environmentally friendly food to be distributed in our lives, efforts by producers are necessary, but cooperation from us as consumers is also essential. By consuming environmentally friendly products, we as consumers participate in this cycle of environmentally regenerative agriculture. Our guest is Associate Professor Yoshitaka Uchida of our university's Research Faculty of Agriculture, who is collecting scientific data and researching more effective agricultural systems in order to realize environmentally regenerative agriculture.

Additionally, as part of a Science Cafe Sapporo-linked project, we will be holding a tasting session of ``milk that makes soil.''

In fact, a limited edition cafe latte made with Utopia Agriculture's grass-fed milk will be available.
