The Hokkaido University Institute for the Advancement of Sustainability and the Hokkaido Rumoi Education Bureau conducted fieldwork on Thursday, October 6, 2022, as part of the "Rumoi High School/Hokkaido University SDGs/Zero Carbon Project."

 

The "Rumoi High School/Hokkaido University SDGs/Zero Carbon Project" is an exploratory way of looking at issues in the Rumoi area through activities in which high school students collaborate with universities to explore and determine the essence of issues within the Rumoi jurisdiction, using the SDGs/zero carbon as themes. By disseminating the results of their research, we aim to promote understanding of the SDGs in the community and lead to behavioral changes in each local resident towards achieving zero carbon.
