Our university has been selected as a "base school for smart agricultural education" in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' FY2020 smart agricultural education promotion contract project.
In order to achieve sustainable agricultural production, there is a need to enable teachers at educational institutions to adequately teach smart agriculture, and to develop teaching materials for this purpose.
Based on the knowledge accumulated by our university's Field Science Center for Northern Biosphere Biological Production Research Farm and the Graduate Research Faculty of Agriculture Vehicle Robotics Laboratory (Professor Shin Noguchi), we will comprehensively support smart agriculture education through the following three methods: We are planning to do business.
- Training for active farmers
- Production of online teaching materials
- Smart agriculture training for educators
