Hokkaido University Museum is recruiting participants for its introductory course in ancient human remains and training in parataxonomism.

Ancient human remains (human bones from ancient times) excavated from archaeological sites are valuable academic resources for estimating the physical characteristics, lifestyles, and history of past peoples.
In this course, after preliminary lectures, you will move to the ancient human remains storage room and learn the basics of identifying bone parts and determining age and sex through observation.
