The Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Promotion Division of the Glocal Strategy Promotion Center at Otaru University of Commerce will co-host the "2026 HSFC Entrepreneurial and Support Personnel Development Program (2nd Session)" with HSFC (Hokkaido Future Creation Startup Development Mutual Support Network).
This program is aimed at researchers, graduate students, and entrepreneurship support personnel from industry, academia, government, and finance. By having researchers share their experiences of launching startups to bring their research findings to society, it provides an opportunity to reconsider social implementation and startup creation as one of the career options for researchers.
On the day of the event, in addition to "researcher CXOs" involved in the launch and management of university-based startups, we will also invite "experts" who are well-versed in the practical aspects of supporting university-based startups. Together, we will discuss the process from research to social implementation and the necessary forms of collaboration and support.
The second session will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Future University Hakodate (hybrid event). The theme this time is "Physical AI Technology." We will bring you inspiring talks from researchers challenging social implementation and the experts supporting them! Please join us!
