The Graduate Faculty of Environmental Earth Science at Hokkaido University will offer the public lecture series 2026, "Adapting to Environmental Change: New Technologies and Social Initiatives," from August 25th (Tue) to September 24th (Thu).
[Public Lecture Overview]
1. Course Schedule: August 25th (Tue) - September 24th (Thu), 2026, 18:00-19:30 (including Q&A time)
2. Location: Lecture rooms Faculty of Environmental Earth Science (in-person) and online
3. Eligibility: Anyone who is a high school student or at least 18 years old is eligible to take the course.
4. How to attend: In-person lectures (70 participants) / Online lectures (100 participants) (Please choose one. You cannot attend both.)
5. Course fee 5,000 yen
*Free for university, technical college, and high school students. (Submission of a copy of student ID, etc., is required.)
*Refunds are not available after delivery.
6. Certificate of Completion: A certificate of completion will be issued to those who have attended three or more sessions and wish to receive one, after the final lecture.
