Hokkaido University's Nitobe College will be holding a seminar entitled "Project Management Methods: Practical Skills for Success" on Saturday, May 23rd.

This faculty development (FD) seminar will guide participants through project management (PM) and its application to educational and research activities using PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). PMBOK is a systematic compilation of PM know-how and methods, and is currently the global standard for PM, widely adopted in many countries. Through this seminar, participants will be able to create more appropriate plans and facilitate smoother teams in managing large-scale projects such as interdisciplinary research. On the other hand, these PM skills are also highly effective in projects undertaken individually or by small teams, as well as in the execution of medium- to long-term tasks. These skills are useful for all faculty and staff, regardless of the size of the projects they are involved in.
We welcome participation from many people.
