A research project by Professor Hirofumi Kato, Director of the Global Station for Indigenous Studies and Cultural Diversity (GSI), has been selected for the 2025 Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research "Fund for Accelerating International Collaborative Research (International Leading Research)." Five of 54 applications were selected, making this the only one selected in the humanities and social sciences category.
