The Hokkaido University School of Agriculture, Graduate School of Agriculture, and Research Faculty of Agriculture will hold the 73rd Clock Tower Salon: Ask School of Agriculture on June 18th.

The Hokkaido University School of Agriculture, Graduate School of Agriculture, and Research Faculty of Agriculture are holding the Clock Tower Salon "Ask School of Agriculture" at the Sapporo Clock Tower (official name: Former Sapporo Agricultural College Drill Hall).

The theme of the 73rd session is "The Cutting Edge of Vegetable Health Checks." What criteria do you use when buying vegetables and fruits at the store? Most people probably judge by appearance. However, there are probably many people who have had the disappointing experience of cutting open the vegetables or fruits they bought and finding that they are blackened or hollow inside. Two experts will introduce the cutting edge of technological development to realize the distribution of higher quality vegetables and fruits by using electromagnetic waves to detect and select such internal changes in advance.
