Professor Kuniharu Takei of Faculty of Information Science and Technology has been awarded the 21st (2024) Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Prize.

 

The JSPS Prize aims to identify and recognize young researchers with creativity and outstanding research ability at an early stage, thereby motivating them to conduct research and supporting the development of their research, thereby raising the standard of academic research in Japan to a world-leading level.
The award winners were selected through a rigorous screening process by a committee made up of Japan's top academic researchers representing each field.
