Vegetables grown in the Kitamite Garden SDGs Farm Project, which utilizes leaf mold made from fallen leaves collected on campus to recycle resources, were provided to runners at the carb loading party, and original dishes using those vegetables were sold at the campus cafe for a limited time only during the event. Trees cut down for university construction work were also reused for a monument at the turnaround point. In collaboration with Yotsuba Dairy Products, a partner company of the event, a plogging project was carried out on the day of the event and the day after, in which runners ran while cleaning the course.
