The Hokkaido University Institute for the Advancement of Sustainability and Hokkaido University Co-op (hereinafter referred to as Hokkaido University Co-op) have begun installing "purified water stands."
Purified Water Stand
- Location: Hokkaido University Co-op Northern Cafeteria (Kita 17-jo Nishi 8-chome, Kita-ku, Sapporo)
- Opening hours: 8:00-19:00 (following the restaurant's opening hours)
- Installation stand: Trinity (Water Stand Co., Ltd.)
- Temperature specifications: room temperature water/cold water
The "purified water stand" that was installed for this test is directly connected to the tap, and by passing the water through a nano-trap filter, you can enjoy the original deliciousness of the water while keeping the minerals intact. Not only Hokkaido University students and faculty staff, but also the general public can fill their own bottles with water directly.
Through the trial installation of this "purified water stand," Hokkaido University hopes to promote the use of reusable bottles and contribute to reducing the use of plastic bottles.
