The Survival Strategy Research Unit Slavic-Eurasian Research Center, Hokkaido University (SRCW) and the Center for Research on Global Risks, Nagasaki University (CGR) will hold the SRCW/CGR Co-Creation Seminar for the Real World, "What are the Global Risks of Nuclear Weapons in the Post-Cold War Era?" on October 17th.

 

When people think of the global risk of nuclear weapons, they often think of the fear of an all-out nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union during the Cold War. However, even now, after the Cold War, and especially in what is called the "post-Cold War" era, the global risk of nuclear weapons certainly exists. What is this risk? And how should we deal with it?
