Hokkaido University Graduate School of Accounting and the Japan Institute of Internal Auditors will co-host a seminar titled "Management and Assurance in the Era of Sustainability: The Reliability of Disclosed Information" on October 31st.

In recent years, social interest in sustainability has increased, and companies are being asked to proactively disclose information related to the environment, society, and governance. Ensuring and increasing the transparency and reliability of disclosed information is essential to supporting the sustainable growth of companies, and is also an extremely important management issue from the perspective of risk management. This seminar will consider the importance and reliability of information disclosure in modern corporate management, and provide an opportunity to think about management and assurance in the age of sustainability.
