School of Agriculture at Hokkaido University and The Hokkaido Shimbun Press will be holding the 41st Agricultural University Parent-Child Lecture: "Our Lives and Enzymes" on September 7th, an experiential course that allows participants to learn about food and agriculture using their minds and bodies.

 

The lecturer (Dr. Aguri) will be Professor Masayuki Okuyama of Research Faculty of Agriculture. What do you imagine when you hear the word "enzyme"? Enzymes are well known as health foods, but in fact they are essential substances for living organisms to carry out their vital activities. Enzymes are also used in various ways to enrich our lives. What are enzymes? Wouldn't you like to know where and how they are used?
