Hokkaido University and the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature will hold the 3rd Hokkaido University/RIHN Collaboration Agreement Commemorative Symposium on July 2nd.

In April 2022, a collaboration agreement was signed between the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN) and Hokkaido University. RIHN is an inter-university research institute that promotes comprehensive research on global environmental studies from the perspective of human culture and the natural environment, and disseminates dynamic and effective results to society through a unique "program-project system." Hokkaido University is a core comprehensive university with a history of nearly 150 years based on Sapporo Agricultural College. In 2005, before the SDGs, it established the "Sustainable Development" International Strategy Headquarters and has been working to realize a sustainable society. The "Hokkaido University-RIHN Collaboration Agreement Commemorative Symposium" will be held at Hokkaido University for the first time in 2022, at RIHN for the second time in 2023, and at Hokkaido University for the third time this year. RIHN and Hokkaido University would like to work together to think about what kind of design we can draw for the future society of the region and the world.
