Hokkaido University Research Faculty of Agriculture and Hamanaka Town Agricultural Cooperative Association signed a joint research agreement on March 7, 2024.

This research aims to quantify the sustainability of the dairy industry within the jurisdiction of the Hamanaka Town Agricultural Cooperative Association, with a particular aim of quantifying nutrient balance and greenhouse gas emissions, and to establish specific objectives for improving the sustainability of the industry as a whole. The purpose is to build a target value.
