The Earthquake and Volcano Research Observation Center attached to the Hokkaido University Faculty of Science will hold the 2024 Earthquake and Volcano Research Observation Center Symposium "Elucidating Earthquake and Volcanic Phenomena in Hokkaido from Research Observations" on March 16th.

At this symposium, four researchers affiliated with the center will give lectures on the research and observations being conducted in Hokkaido. We also plan to give a poster presentation.
